We see the hope and potential in every young person

Ken Mohle

Hi! My name is Ken Mohle and I have just joined the YFC staff in Minto. I am married to Margreet and we have 4 children, ages 6 to 15. We live in Palmerston and we think this is a great community.

My call to youth ministry began when my pastor called me and asked if I would be interested in being a part of youth ministry with Youth for Christ in Minto. Since then, it has become clear to me that God wants me to be in ministry with the youth of Minto.

The motto of YFC: We see hope and potential in every young person, resonates with me since as a Christian I see everyone around me, including youth, as created and loved by God and His desire is for everyone to believe in Him.

I am excited to team up with Joe Janeczko of Harriston as we seek to share the good news of the gospel with teens which may lead to belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

We also hope to identify Christian leaders among the youth who desire to share their faith as well. We hope to reach teens through Drop-in Centres (Upper Deck), sports programs, volunteer programs, visiting schools, etc.

However, we cannot do this alone. We would like you to partner with us through prayer and financial support.

I consider it a privilege to serve God in ministry to youth, to serve my community in providing youth leadership in Minto, and to be a positive influence in our community as a whole.
